Dear all Kalayanamitras all over the world,

I have just joined the meditation since Oct 6, 2013. Yet my meditation result is not very well. But as I am a pain victim and I can use meditation to reduce and/or to control the pain and/or my sicknesses. Therefore I 'm pleased to my meditation to an extent. I want to reveal how to relax the mind as so to be a  Dhammatan for someone.

 

1.The way to relax the mind needs to start from physical body first-- find the most comfortable position. But I need to lay down with air cushion as I am a pain victim. I can't find the position which has no pain 100%. Started from thinking or (if I can't think of any), viewed Anumotana Rejoice Certificates.

2.Sometimes go to FB but only view innocent and pleasant stuffs (Kusolanimitta) such as Buddha, babie or animal photos( of which you all prefer)(this is the choice) to make the mind happy or at least neutralized

3.Then start placing the mind gently at 072 or just within the abdomen.

4.No need to find the exact 072 point. Later when the mind is more still and vacant, the mind will automatically find the 072 itself without any expectation to visualize anything. By this way the mind will be eased out stress and more relaxed

5.Another way is that to review merits I have done repeatedly and be consistently till the mind feels happy. Then from that point, I start meditation.

 

This is just my easy method  that newbies to this meditation may be of use. Anumotanaboon with your stilling mind ka. sadhu. :)
