     Wat Phra Dhammakaya London, UK, arranged the Ceremonies of Offering Sustenance to the Buddha and lighting lanterns to worship the Buddha in honor of Vesak Day

     In these ceremonies, the monks and laypeople meditated to purify their mind together before performing the Ceremony of Offering Sustenance to the Buddha.  After that the hosts and the congregation invited the Picked-Up Robe Sets to the Ceremonial Center.  There were three groups which were the hosts of the Picked-Up Robe Sets for building the temple, for the Wisdom Perfection Fund, and for the Vehicle Fund.  Ms. Warina Tirathamcharoen and Mr. Suttipong Kamchadphai led the others to say the Speech of Offering the Picked-Up Robe Set for building the temple; Ms. Woranan Ninwong and Ms. Phaninthorn Kaewsri led the others to say the Speech of Offering the Picked-Up Robe Set for the Wisdom Perfection Fund; and Ms. Duangkamon Thanu led the others to say the Speech of Offering the Picked-Up Robe Set for the Vehicle Fund.  Later, they said the Speech of Offering the Most Ven. Phrathepyanmahamuni’s 71^st Birthday’s Kitchen which Ms. Kanlayanee Yibklang led to say the offering speech.  After that they offered their alms and meals to the monks together - Ms. Woranan Ninwong was the host of offering food.  Then, they offered their alms in the Morning Alms Round.

Later, Mr. Thianchai Chitwichiankul and Ms. Ampha Champhairoj led the congregation to say the Speech of Offering Vesak Lanterns before lighting Vesak lanterns and circumambulating in the Main Buddhist Chapel of Wat Phra Dhammakaya London to commemorate the Buddha’s Kindness together.  These ceremonies made the congregation happy very much.
