After weeks of intensive training as part of the Dhammadayada ordination program, the novices from the Dhammakaya International Meditation Center, New Jersey gave an opportunity for their parents, guardians and Buddhists to make merits by receiving alms on July 24th, 2016. In the late afternoon, the 3 novices gave sermons and talked about their experiences and their impressions of the Dhammadayada ordination. Then there was the ceremony to offer the certificate of completion to the novices, followed by the novices pledging the verses for the intention to leave the monkhood and resume their worldly lives.
