The Great Chancellor Episode 2
Compiled from the Inner Dreams Kindergarten

In one era, or the previous Buddha Aeon, there was one interesting state. Even though the state that we are talking about was not the world’s largest state in that era, it was rather medium in size, which was not too small or too large.  This state was both supreme in economic growth and high moral standards. It was one of the states that had the best living standards in that era.

There was one state in the last Buddha Aeon that was both supreme in economic growth and high moral standards.

Evidence proved that this state was both supreme in economic growth and high moral standards was the citizens living in this state were all devoted Buddhists. Buddhism was the most highly respected religion here. Most of the citizens liked to go to temples to listen to monks preach, to practice meditation, and to follow the precepts with the heart and soul. Moreover, the citizens living in this state usually like to invite each other to continue making merit daily. Each individual also acted as attendant for monks and temples with their best effort.

The citizens from all different levels (from grassroots to the top) who resided in this state all had love and respect in Buddhism

Due to the reason that the citizens living in this state all had high moral standards within their minds, everyone lived their life based upon righteousness and goodness. No one in this state conducted their livings on mischief or corruption. Based on the principle of righteousness, everyone had freedom to choose how to conduct their living. When the citizens received their income from their jobs, they would not be taken advantages by high taxes from the government officials. This caused the citizens living in this state to have a surplus of money left over from their jobs to accumulate more merit and live their lives cheerfully.

All citizens who resided in this state also conducted their livings based on the principle of righteousness.

Moreover, when traveling from one destination to another, no matter how far or short the distance was, it was convenient and safe in every place. No citizen would ever need to worry or become afraid of robberies that may occur during their journey. For this reason, the citizens living in this state lived together in harmony and peacefully. The food in the state was abundance, and there were no famine or starvation. It can be said that everyone lived in this state comfortably.

All citizens who resided in this state all lived together in harmony and peacefully because there were no robberies and traveling to places was safe.

In addition to the citizens in this state living their lives based on the principle of righteousness, monks and novices who also living in this state were determined to keep their 227 precepts, practiced meditation, said their prayers, and preached to civilians. For these reasons, monks and novices living in this state were all skillful in the theories, practices, preaching Dhamma, and Dhammakaya Vijja.

Therefore, the monks and novices were able to preach Dhamma to the normal civilians so that they clearly understood the meanings and the truths of life. This caused Buddhism and Dhammakaya Vijja to flourish all over this state and spread to other states as well.

The monks and novices were able to preach the normal civilians to create a clear understanding about the meanings and truths of life.

Besides the highest respect toward Buddhism, this state also had the best relationships with the other surrounding states as well. Due to this reason, no other states dared to make wars with this special state.

This state also had the best relationships with the other neighboring states.

Due to this state having the best relationships with other surrounding states, it caused the entrepreneurs both inside and outside this state to become very pleased because they were able to travel and conduct their businesses between states easily.

The most important issue was that whenever there was traveling required to spread Buddhism and Dhammakaya Vijja abroad, there were no obstacles. This was because the travel routes were both convenient and safe. This caused the Dhamma teachings to be easily spread without being prevented by other surrounding states.  For this reason, Buddhism and Dhammakaya Vijja in that era were well flourished and wide spread.

Contacting, traveling, and conducting businesses between states occurred both easily and conveniently.

In addition, the state was considered to be very peaceful and clean. Alongside the roads and the houses, there were trees planted not so far apart from each other. This caused the air inside this state to be very clean and pure, not polluted like the air in today’s world.

In this state, the condition of the town was very peaceful, scenery and clean.

All of these progresses were not a rare consequence because truthfully, the state had a ruler known as, “The King who later became ordained.” This king was very mindful of the Dhamma, and had all the finest qualities that a king could have to reign over the state. Due to the reason that the “King who became ordained later” was excellent at ruling over his state, his citizens were very happy and pleased.  Therefore, “The King who became ordained later,” was loved and respected throughout all levels of citizens: from the grassroots to the top.  Moreover, “The King who became ordained later” had a “favorite chancellor” who helped assist him in terms of governing the land. The “Great Chancellor” was a very important individual in this true story.

The King who stood on the principle of righteousness and had the most supreme capabilities

To find out how special the King’s favorite chancellor was, we will have to wait and see in episode 3. Please visit us again in the episode 3. Thank you.
