Triple Gem พระรัตนตรัย
"Rattana Tri" is a Pali word. "Rattana" means gem, "Tri" means three.
Rattana = แก้ว
Tri = สาม
Triple = สาม
Gem = อัญมณี, รัตนชาติ
"Rattana Tri" or "Triple Gem" means the three holy gems which include Buddha Gem, Dhamma gem and sangha Gem.
พระรัตนตรัยก็คือ แก้วอันประเสริฐ 3 ประการ คือ พุทธรัตนะ ธรรมรัตนะ สังฆรัตนะ
Buddha Gem = พุทธรัตนะ
Dhamma Gem = ธรรมรัตนะ
Sangha Gem = สังฆรัตนะ
Triple Gem can be divided into three levels. The first level is the Triple Gem that most people commonly refer to. They are Buddha images that people worship.
พระรัตนตรัย ยังแบ่งได้เป็น 36 ระดับอีกด้วย พระรัตนตรัยที่คนส่วนใหญ่ทั่วๆ ไปนึกถึงประกอบด้วยพุทธรัตนะ หมายถึง พระพุทธรูปที่เรากราบไหว้
Buddha images = พระพุทธรูป
Worship = บูชา
Dhamma gem, the Teachings of the Buddha.
ธรรมรัตนะ หมายถึงพระธรรมคำสอน
Sangha Gem, monks who are ordained in the Buddhist religion.
สังฆรัตนะ หมายถึง ภิกษุที่มาบวชในพระพุทธศาสนาค่ะ
The second level of Triple Gem consists of Buddha Gem, the physical body of the Lord Buddha.
พระรัตนตรัยขั้นที่ 2 ประกอบด้วย พุทธรัตนะ หมายถึงกายเนื้อของพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า
Physical Body = กายเนื้อ
Dhamma Gem, the Teachings spolen by the Buddha himself.
ธรรมรัตนะก็หมายถึง คำสั่งสอนที่ออกจากพระโอษฐ์ของพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า
Sangha Gem, noble monks whose conducts are virtuous and pure. Their minds are calm and still permanently by nature.
สังฆรัตะ หมายถึง พระอริยสงฆ์ ผู้ประพฤติดีปฏิบัติชอบ เป็นผู้ที่มีใจหยุดสนิทเป็นปกติ
Noble Monk = พระอริยสังฆ์
Virtuous = มีศีลธรรม. ความดีงาม
The third level of Triple Gem Can only be attained through meditation at the highest level.
พระรัตนตรัยขั้นที่ 3 สามารถพบเจอได้จากการปฏิบัติสมาธิในระดับสูงแต่เพียงอย่างเดียว
