The Blessings: a guide to preaching

Blessings
Studying the Blessings in a systematic way will make people understand the teachings easier.

The preaching of the Buddhist monks, especially from respectful monks who are well-known in preaching people, is usually based on the Blessings. The monks use the Blessings as their leading topics or models of preaching because the Blessings are not too difficult, but at the same time not too easy. One of these monks is Phramongkholthepmuni  of the temple of Paknam Bhasicharoen in Thailand.

In the Middle Age, during the reign of the king Mengraimaharat, there was a monk named Phrasirimangkhlachan. He wrote a book about the Blessings in the Pali language. This book later became a guide for preaching, and is nowadays used as a textbook for Academic Buddhist studying of the Scriptures I the Pali Department.

From the information above, it is obvious that the 38 Blessings are inarguably proper to study. The reasons to support this conclusion are :

Firstly, The Blessings are very easy to understand. Studying the Blessings in a systematic way will make people understand the teachings easier.

Secondly, the Blessings are practical. They are organized from the easiest topic to the most difficult one. The people who study them can practice the Blessings step by step comparing with climbing up the stairs.
