Little bird in the golden cage

Question from the audience:

If someone raises a bird, will raiser get any sin?

Answer:

The bird–raising is counted to be one of the animal tortures because the bird can not fly or live freely.  The bad retribution will cause the raiser to be born in the battle time and caught as a captive or born in the colony or imprisoned without fault.  But the raising does not torture the bird much, so the bad retribution does not affect in this life but it will affect the raiser in the next life.  I suggest you to let it free.  Don’t confine the bird; even though its cage is gold, it is not pleased.
