Mass Media had visited the ethical training for officials of the Department of National Park, Wildlife and Plant Conservation at Dhammakaya Temple, they found that there was no political significance.
The ethical training for the National Park Officials
Since there were news from some media that thousands of the Officials of Department of National Park, Wildlife and Plant Conservation gathering at Dhammakaya Temple in Pathum Thani province might concern with the politics, Phra Jiraphat Kittibhattho, the assistant director of Communication Department, Dhammakaya Temple, gave the explanation to TNN 24 TV Channel and DailyNews newspaper that the Department of National Park, Wildlife and Plant Conservation has asked for space of Dhammakaya Temple to arrange the ethical training for its officials since 1977. In this year, the Department of National Park, Wildlife and Plant Conservation arranged this training during June 7th – 16th, 2012 (10 total days) by the command of Mr. Damrong Pidech, Director-General of the Department of the National Park, Wildlife and Plant Conservation. He ordered about 2,500 officials from all over the country to send the representatives to practice meditation because he would like the officials to work morally and able to apply the morality in their daily lives, not receive bribes or corrupt.
So we would like everyone to understand that this ethical training did not concern with the politics anymore, not link the sacred place like temples to concern with the political conflicts, and consider that every temple is the sacred place for making merit, training and cultivating congregations, and being the mental refuge.
