The Foreign Monks Pilgrimaged

 

From Panawat to Bankhun temple in Chiang Mai  

 

 

 

Over 70 foreign monks and novices pilgrimaged from Panawat to Bankhun temple on July 25^th, 2010.  During the journey there were many residents offering the allowed refreshments to them because it hardly happened for the residents to see and make merit with a lot of foreign monks and novices like this.

 

Moreover, the residents welcomed and faithfully prepared a long petal path for the monks to walk on.  Finally, the foreign monks reached Bankhun temple and they circumambulated clockwise and lit the lantern to worship the Lord Buddha.
