Dhammachai dhutanga (the Pioneer batch)

On Monday December 19th, 2011 will be one of the most joyful days when over 150 monks are going to perform the Dhammachai dhutanga, the pioneer batch, to create the legend of the Dhammakaya Vijja announcement on the road paved with colorful rose petals by the laypeople’s hands.

The monks will start at 9:30 am from Phramongkolthepmuni Maha Vihara, past the Khlong Luang District Office and heading to Thammasat University Rangsit Campus and then, go to Chiang Rak Road and take a temporary rest at Traphang Temple which the distance is 9.3 km long.  The laypeople who would like to make merit can offer Pana Drinks to them there.  After that, they will walk on the road paved with the rose petals which heads to Pathumthani University, 5.7 km long.  The total distance is 15 km long.

Now, there is only 4 days left for us to prepare rose petals for paving the road to welcome the monks, the Pioneer Batch.  Don’t forget to come with rose petals and happy heart to make merit along the way together on Monday December 19th, 2011.  Don’t let any place have a gap without petals.  We will not let have any gaps without petals and laypeople from Phramongkolthepmuni Maha Vihara to Pathumthani University at all.
