Dhammakaya D.C. Temple arranged many ceremonies since Thai Mother Day

The congregations of Dhammakaya D.C. Temple arranged many ceremonies on Sunday August 15th, 2010.  They began with the meditation session to purify their mind to be the good container for the subsequent merit ceremonies.  Then, they requested to keep the precepts and indefinitely offered the meal to the monks.  Ms. Charanya Sornritchingchai was the president and led other congregations to speak the offering speech in harmony.  They performed the morning ceremony of offering alms to the monk together happily and enjoyed in merit.

In the afternoon the teaching monk had led the congregation to meditate before they performed the ceremony of dedicating merit to the passed away ones.  Then, they arranged the ceremony of offering the pick–up robes and listened to Dhamma from Phrakru Vinaidhorn Harnchai A–sabhakanto.  Since of the Thai Mother Day, the teaching monk played a video about orphans who yearned for the parents’ love for the congregations to watch and realize that while the congregations’ mothers still alive, they should keep their parents’ love and warmness and find the way to pay back their parents’ kindness.
After that the children apologized their mother and gave flowers and cards in which they wrote their feeling about their love to their mother.  Then, the children bowed and cleaned their mothers’ feet carefully.  When the children finished cleaning, they and their mothers hugged each other.  This picture made the atmosphere in that day full of mothers’ and children’s love and warmness.  The great picture impressed in over 70 congregations’ minds.
