Dhammakaya Temple launched
the “Temple helps temples” Project
We already helped over 50 temples in Pathum Thani, Ayutthaya, Nonthaburi and Bangkok
 

Dhammakaya Foundation helped the flood victims

Phra Sanitwong Wuttiwangso, Head of Public Relation Division, Dhammakaya Temple, unveiled that Dhammakaya Temple and Foundation launched the “Temple helps temples” Project which it was initiated by the Most Ven. Phrarajbhavanavisudh (Dhammajayo Bhikkhu), the abbot of Dhammakaya Temple.  This is to help the temples and people who are troubling from flood in Pathum Thani, Ayutthaya, Nonthaburi and Bangkok because those monks can not go out for the morning alms round and some temples are the temporary residence for the flood victims

The donations were:
•    5 boats
•    20,000 boxes of ready-to-eat food
•    50,000 bags of drinking water
•    2,000 relief packages (canned fish, hen eggs, fish sauce, Chinese sausage, dried fish, salt, sugar, dried chili, milk, coffee, cocoa)
•    12 sacks of rice
•    3,000 packs of instant noodle
•    3,000 packs of instant soy milk
•    2,000 coconuts
•    40 sacks of vegetables and fruits
•    300 packages of medicines
•    EM ball for the polluted water treatment, etc.
The total donations were over 100,000 items.
 
Dhammakaya Temple launched the “Temple helps temples” for over 50 temples during the flood crisis.

From October 17th, 2011 – November 17th, 2011, Dhammakaya Temple already helped 52 temples as the mentioned below.
Eight temples in Don Muang District, Bangkok:
1.    Veruvanaram Temple
2.    Phromrangsi Temple
3.    Don Muang Temple
4.    Sigan Temple
5.    Lak Si Temple
6.    Khlong Ban Mai Temple
7.    Sai Amphan Amasarn Temple
8.    Thep Nimit Temple

Two temples in Ayutthaya:
1.    Phayom Temple
2.    Thongchand Temple

Eleven temples in Nonthaburi:
1.    Saimanua Temple
2.    Saimatai Temple
3.    Phaeng Temple
4.    Bangna Temple
5.    Daeng Thammachart Temple
6.    Khae Nok Temple
7.    Tamnak Tai Temple
8.    Tai Muang Temple
9.    Khlang Temple
10.    Noi Temple
11.    Chaeng Temple

Thirty-one temples in Pathum Thani:
1.    Chand Kraphor Temple
2.    Khian Khet Temple
3.    Mool Chindaram Temple
4.    Khunying Somchin Temple

Dhammakaya Temple already helped 52 temples
