Petchabun Meditation Center Arranged the Dhutanga
Novices in the Mass Novice Ordination for Restoring Buddhism Project in Petchabun Province walked in the Dhutanga to be the merit fields for laypeople.

Petchabun Meditation Center arranged the dhutanga of its novices who were ordained in the Mass Novice Ordination for Restoring Buddhism Project. They started at Wat Nernsawang in Bor Thai Sub-district, Nong Phai District and walked to Wat Ban Kok Charoen. Residents in these villages went out to welcome the novices because it rarely happened. They offered cool drinking water to the novices who were walking past their houses which encouraged the novices to do this activity. The weather was hot but it was not the obstacle for the novices. In addition, there were some monks looking after the novices closely.

When the novices arrived the destination; the congregation paved flower’s petals to welcome and washed the novices’ feet happily. After that they lit candles to worship the Buddha together. These activities impressed all of them very much.
