Message of Condolence and Support
On behalf of the World Buddhist Sangha Youth (WBSY) and the World Alliance of Buddhists (WAB), we extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to all those affected by the devastating earthquake that struck Myanmar and Thailand on March 28, 2025.
We are particularly saddened by the suffering of the Sangha community in Myanmar, where many monks and novices have been severely impacted. In this time of great hardship, we stand in solidarity with all victims and will strive to provide assistance in every possible way.
May the blessings of the Triple Gem and the merits we have accumulated protect everyone from further harm, bring strength and resilience, and support the flourishing of the Buddha’s teachings for generations to come.
