Dhammachai Day at Bhavana San Jose Temple

 The teaching monks led congregations to pray the Morning Chanting and meditate together

Sunday August 26th, 2012, Bhavana San Jose Temple arranged the Dhammachai Day for Luang Phaw Dhammajayo’s disciples to meditate together since His Ordination Day Anniversary.  The Most Ven. Phrathepyanmahamuni (Dhammajayo Bhikkhu) has devoted himself for Buddhism and is the leader of his disciples all around the world in making merit and pursuing perfections.

 

 

 Offering medicines since Dhammachai Day

The morning activities began with chanting and meditating.  Then, it was the ceremonies of offering the bowl of flowers and opening the sacred cone to worship the Most Ven. Luang Phaw.  Later, Ms. Thanaporn Thatkhorn and Ms. Natthakarn Boonkan led the congregations to offer the medicines. After that Ms. Luckhana Chuangpia and Ms. Natthakarn Boonkan led the congregations to offer the Dhammachai Picked-up Robe Sets.  Dr. Nattaya Boonmak was the president to offer meal to the monks as Sangha Dana.  The ceremonial presidents and other congregations offered alms and money respectively and they took the group photos together happily.  They were joyful because they expressed their gratefulness to the Most Ven. Luang Phaw who was their beloved one.  In the afternoon, the teaching monks led the congregations to meditate and gave a sermon for their knowledge further.
