The Ordination Celebration for New Monks Batch “the Master Nun Chand’s 105^th Birthday Anniversary”

Wat Phra Dhammakaya in Pathum Thani province arranged the ordination celebration for new monks batch “the Master Nun Chand Khonnokyoong’s 105^th Birthday Anniversary.”

There was the ordination celebration for the new monks batch “the Master Nun Chand Khonnokyoong’s 105^th Birthday Anniversary” at the Main Buddhist Chapel of Wat Phra Dhammakaya on Sunday January 19^th, 2014.  Ms. Manothip Chakkrawantham honored to be the laity president and led the others to profess Buddhism.  After that, the laypeople’s representative performed the ceremonies of offering meals, alms, medicine to monks and making a wish.

The objectives of these ceremonies were to open a chance to Buddhists to make merit with new monks who have been ordained in the Master Nun Chand’s 105^th Birthday Anniversary Project.  Then, the monks will spend most of the time to train self by following the Lord Buddha’s teaching to be real monks.
