The Process of Human Reformation
They form the breeding ground of all other virtues and morality among mankind
Having discovered that all troubles in human society can be traced back to defilements our minds, it is necessary for us to get to the root of the problem by finding a process of reformation which can effectively remove these defilements.
In the interim we find that it is more practical to deal with the core values demonstrated by the defilements than dealing with the defilements themselves.1 The best and the most appropriate process of human reformation is to cultivate ‘positive core values’ within the hearts of all mankind – core values which are ethical and comply with the reality of the world, as known in Buddhism as ‘Ringht view’ , the righteous understanding regarding life and the world. They form the breeding ground of all other virtues and morality among mankind
