Wat Phra Dhammakaya organizes chanting, mass meditation and the great offering of monks’ necessities to 40,000 temples throughout Thailand on Earth Day 2025 in order to share loving kindness with earthquake victims in Myanmar and Thailand.
This past June, Most Venerable Phraprommethi-spokeperson and committee member of the Sangha Supreme Council and abbot of Wat Samphanthawongsaram Woraviharn-kindly presided over the ceremony to drive the initial foundation pile to officially establish the future location of Wat Phra Dhammakaya Singapore.

The Great, Indefinite Monastic Offering in the Center of Hat Yai City The Ceremony of Morning Alms Offering to 10,000 Foreign and Thai Monks From 4 Countries and 14 Southern Provinces
The ceremony started from welcoming over 200 international monks with a parade of flowers and flags, and was kindly presided by the Most Venerable Phrathepmongkolvites, the head of the monastic assembly of Wat Thai Los Angeles.
The 1,195 senior monks from 77 provinces across Thailand attended a meditation training at World Peace Valley in Nokhon Ratchasima province to prepare the Kathina project for 30,000 temples throughout Thailand, aiming to strengthen the unity of the monastic community in the country.
1,128 Dhammachai Monks had been trained in the 100,00-Monk Ordination Nationwide Project and ordained correctly according to the Monastic Disciplines in the temples across the country for at least six months. Every monk determined to get rid of or lessen his defilement, greed, anger, and ignorance. When the project was over, they went to Dhammakaya Temple to continue their self-training for being the fertilized merit fields in the coming Dhammachai Dhutanga.
