The news about the foreign monks and novices who ordained in the 100,000-monk ordination during the Buddhist Lent Project.
On 6th November 2014, Dhammakaya Foundation and the Bhikkhu Sangha of Myanmar organized three historic events in the city of Dawei, Myanmar: alms-offering ceremony to 3,000 monks and novices; pilgrimage by 1,000 monks and novices; and a lantern lighting ceremony in homage to the Lord Buddha.
The 2015 International Dhammadayada Ordination Program for Novices for young men 12 to 16 years of age will be held July 5-31, 2015. This 27-day training program is taught only in English.

An 8-year-old novice in Trang Province takes time about 20 minutes to recite Dhammacakkapavattana Sutta fluently without looking. He unveiled that he can recite the Seven Books of Abhidhamma since he was 5 years old. The recitation causes good concentration so that he often gets the first place in his class and he wants to study more about Buddhism in the future.

Phra Sanitwong Wuttiwangso, PR of the Mass Ordination Program for 100,000 Monks from Every Village throughout Thailand, announced that this was the sixth year and the 11th Summer Mass Ordination Program for 100,000 novices (March 14, 2015) to be held at Wat Phra Dhammakaya in Pathum Thani Province.

การบวชทำให้ผมนั่งสมาธิได้ดีขึ้น ผมชอบนั่งสมาธิในตอนเย็นๆ เพราะตอนเช้าผมง่วงนอนมาก ผมเห็นแสงสว่าง สว่างมากๆ เหมือนกับ มองขึ้นฟ้า แล้วเห็นพระอาทิตย์สว่างจ้ามากๆ ผมตื่นเต้นนิดหน่อย แต่ก็ยังนั่งต่อไปเรื่อยๆ จนกระทั่งเห็น crystal ball ลูกเล็กๆ ที่ไม่ใหญ่มากนัก ผมรู้สึกสงบ และมีความสุขมากๆ ก่อนหน้าที่ผมจะบวช ผมไม่เห็นมันมาก่อนเลย ผมมีความสุข มากกว่าได้เกรด A ในตอนสอบเสียอีก
