On Saturday, August 22nd 2015, the Dhammakaya temple in Boston hosted a meditation event. The aim of the event was to spread kindness and compassion to the 9/11 victims and those affected by the tragedy.
On September 10, 2015, the Dhammakaya Meditation Center of Mongolia organized the 26th Mongolian Meditation Project for the 3rd time.
During June 26-28, 2015, Wat phra Dhammakaya Gumma, Japan, arranged a meditation retreat for locals. This meditation retreat was well participated by a group of 10 Japanese college students and 1 teacher, under the persuasion of Ven. Phramaha Pongsak Dhaniyo.

Venerable Phrakhrusamu Sanitwong Wuttiwangso, director of Communication Department and assistant abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya stated that on occasion of “Coronation Day”, Wat Phra Dhammakaya Tochigi collaborated with Dhammakaya International Meditation Center Tochigi to organize an ordination ceremony and a laywomen/laymen training program for the Japanese locals in order to spread the Buddha’s teachings sustainably for the public.
Wat Phra Dhammakaya organized public assistance activities during Songkran Festival 2026, providing meals and support to locals, enhancing community life and safety.
On the morning of Tuesday, August 30th, 2016 the venerable monks from the Dhammakaya Meditation Center Scotland received alms from Thais and locals in the city of Helensburg, where this meditation center is located.
From August 15-20, 2016, Wat Phra Dhammakaya Taipei organized the Dhammadayad Ordination and Meditation for locals.
Wat Phra Dhammakaya Gunma, Japan, arranged the Weekend Meditation for Locals during August 12 – 14, 2016 (3 days & 2 nights) where there were 8 meditation sessions.
The Meditation Center of Chicago has been arranging meditation class for locals on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings for many years.
