Thai Buddhist Meditation Center in Japan, Tokyo, arranged meditation and taught dharma in Japanese on the topic of “Current Situation of Buddhism in Thailand” by Ven Maha Dr. Pongsak Thaniyo.
Meditation Center of Chicago arranged a special meditation for locals in the One Day Meditation Retreat Project on Saturday July 30, 2016. There were over 50 participants and Ven Dr. Nicholas Thanissaro was the teaching monk.

Wat Phra Dhammakaya Gunma, Japan, arranged a meditation retreat for locals during June 17 – 19, 2016 (3 days and 2 nights) with 8 meditation sessions.
On Monday June 20, 2016, at Vayu Massage Shop in Nakameguro, Tokyo, the owner Mr. Takano invited the teaching monks from Thai Buddhist Meditation Center of Japan to teach dharma and lead meditation. He does it every month and this was the 20th time.
On Tuesday May 17, 2016, Ms. Pimchanok and the Saisamorn Family invited Phrakhrubhavanavidesa, the Abbot of Seattle Meditation Center, to teach meditation at YWCA, which is an organization to help poor women in the downtown of Vancouver, Canada.
From May 18th – 27th, 2016, The Middle Way Meditation Retreat under the leadership of Venerable monk Piset Jittasuto, Vice Deputy Chief of the Middle Way Meditation hosted the meditation retreat.
