A good project for meditation lovers!
This is the story of a man who never had attaching his feeling to his mother who punished him severely only because she lost only little amount of money. She blamed him for that though he tried all the best to give her any explanation. What caused this bad mother-son relationship? The answer will be revealed here.
Venerable Phrakhrusamu Sanitwong Wuttiwangso, director of Communication Department and assistant abbot of Wat Phra Dhammakaya stated that on occasion of “Coronation Day”, Wat Phra Dhammakaya Tochigi collaborated with Dhammakaya International Meditation Center Tochigi to organize an ordination ceremony and a laywomen/laymen training program for the Japanese locals in order to spread the Buddha’s teachings sustainably for the public.
Wat Phra Dhammakaya collaborated with 170 branches of Morality Promotion Center across Thailand to organize the mass ordination project for 5,000 novices, called “Dhamma Training during Summer Break”. On 4 April 2026, at the Ordination Center of Wat Phra Dhammakaya in Pathum Thani province, the parents of ordinands and laypeople circumambulated Maha Dhammakaya Cetiya, were asked for forgiveness and offered novices’ robe and alms bowl. There were 365 ordinands at this ordination center.
Soen Meditation Summit 2025 was organized for meditation training and connection between Thai and South Korean monastic communities.

The 2015 International Dhammadayada Ordination Program for Novices for young men 12 to 16 years of age will be held July 5-31, 2015. This 27-day training program is taught only in English.
The Buddhist Monk Ordination Program was first organized in 2005. The training was initiated by Luang Por Dhammajayo, The president of Dhammakaya Foundation ( A UN’s NGO and member of The World Fellowship of Buddhist ), with the objective of promoting ethics and morality among youths, in addition to their academic education. Education alone cannot adequately cultivate ethics and morality in a person.
