เมื่อวันที่ 14 มิถุนายน พ.ศ.2555 ที่ผ่านมา พระเทพญาณมหามุนี (หลวงพ่อธัมมชโย) เจ้าอาวาสวัดพระธรรมกาย และประธานมูลนิธิธรรมกาย มีดำริให้นำข้าวสารอาหารแห้งที่ได้จากการจัดโครงตักบาตรพระ 2 ล้านรูป 77 จังหวัดทุกวัดทั่วไทย ไปมอบถวายแด่วัดและสำนักสงฆ์ใน อ.สายบุรี จ.ปัตตานี
