In year 1969, Phrarajbhavanavisudh [Venerable
Dhammajayo Bhikkhu] ordained at Paknamphasricharoen Temple,
thus entered Buddhist priesthood. Since then he has been committed
to teaching with compassion all Buddhists frequenting the Temple
to listen to Dhammakaya and practice meditation. His aim extended
as well to young children of adult congregation. He conceived of
the plan to build a Dhamma-teaching and meditation-practicing
facility to serve young Buddhist exclusively. These included
primarily children or grandchildren of his Temple congregation..

embarked on the project of building the Dhammakaya Temple
which spanned many years from its conception to completion.
The plan was partially revived when he brought a group of
temple congregation on a meditation trip to Doi Inthanon in

towards Phrarajbhavanavisudh, these children proffered him a tray

towards Nirvana. This was the first time the "Yuwakalayanamitra",

Phrarajbhavanavisudh directly. The lessons focussed primarily on
the practice of meditation. It was quite surprising that these children
whose ages were between 9-15 years could meditate as continually
and rigorously as adults. Average length of their meditation time
were 8-12 hours per day. Meditation, together with other minor
