Afternoon activity
On the first day of the camp, at 14.30,
Yuwakalayanamitra either learn Buddhist culture or make and
receive merits through cleaning. On other days, they do art or
other creative activities, except on two days before the camp
ends when they practice meditation in small groups to achieve
better results.
Free time
16.00 is free-time. Yuwakalayanamitra play
sports such as football, badminton or checker together or with
mentors, or read books as they like. They are closely watched
over by priest instructors and mentors who quickly sport
participants who stay alone and look lonely and approach them
to give comfort.
Board for praise and mind sharing
There is a board made from paper installed at
the camp for YUWA CAMP Yuwakalayanamitra to release
feeling and express creativity. Usually the board is used to praise
publicly participants who behave themselves or do the right
conducts to give them reinforcement and morale support. The
board space is quickly used up and so it is changed everyday.
Supper
At 17.30, supper is served, but this time for
YUWA CAMP participants exclusively as priest instructors and
mentors have only beverage during this meal. Usually YUWA
CAMP participants are late for this meal, boys in particular, because
of football or other recreational activities in which they are intensely
engage. Mentors are not always successful in distracting them because
they too love playing football.
