Congressional Resolution In Honor of Dhammataya Soundation's Service Whereas since 1986 the Dhammataya Soundation has served the people of Thailand and the world through the Cultural Peace Program. And Whereas Over four million children are participating in this years program and in that these participating young people will become the leaders of future generations and Whereas The Buddhist International Society Dhammataya Soundation also provides a means for caring citizens of many countries to reach out with love care and compassion through their generous and sacrificial giving to those in need, and Whereas The Dhammataya Foundation endeavors to improve the quality of life of children and adult citizens alize. nd Whereas the Dhammalaya Soundation has grown to over fourteen million members and promotes the abstinence from alcohol tobacco and drugs and in that the Dhammazzaya Soundation works diligently to promote peace and harmony among cultures. Therefore be it Resolved that in recognition of the contributions of The Buddhist International Society Dhammalaya Soundation that this day Saturday March Third of the year 2007 be proclaimed as The Buddhist International Society Dhammataya Soundation Day in the cities and communities of California's 52nd Congressional District. In witness thereof I have hereonto set my hand this twenty-ninth day of January 2007 and have caused the Great Seal of the United States House of Representatives to be affoted hereto.
