สรุปเนื้อหา

In 1969, Pharajbhananaavisudh, or Venerable Dhammajayo Bhikkhu, dedicated himself to teaching Buddhism and meditation, especially to children of his temple congregation. His dream of establishing a dedicated facility for teaching Dhamma was momentarily set aside to build Dhammakaya Temple. The project saw a revival on a meditation trip to Doi Inthanon, where a group named 'Kalayanamitra' including children practiced meditation successfully, some experiencing enlightenment visions. They created gifts to honor Pharajbhananaavisudh, marking the inception of 'Yuwakalayanamitra', a youth meditation group gaining insights directly from him. These young meditators averaged 8-12 hours of meditation daily, showing remarkable dedication.

In year 1969, Pharajbhananaavisudh [Venerable Dhammajayo Bhikkhu] ordained at Paknam thus entered Buddhist priesthood. The plan was partially revived when he brought a group of temple congregation on a meditation trip to Doi Inthanon in Chiangmai. He called the group “Kalayanamitra” which means decent friends. Some group members also brought along their children for practicing meditation. Their practice was successful; some children saw a bright Dhammakaya and spherical glass during meditation on the last day of the trip. To express their gratitude towards Pharajbhananaavisudh, these children made from hollow pumpkin and a doll made from clay which signified that it was him who led them on the path of enlightenment towards Nirvana. This was the first time the children were called, originated in “Yuwakalayanamitra”, in the world. At the trip Yuwakalayanamitra learnt Dhamma from Pharajbhananaavisudh directly. The lessons focussed primarily on the practice of meditation. It was quite surprising that these children whose ages were between 9-15 years could meditate as continually and rigorously as adults. Average length of their meditation time was 8-12 hours per day. Meditation, together with other minor
