Making prayer At 19.30, YUWA CAMP participants and mentors assemble at the meditation room to make prayer, listen to Dhamma, do obeisance to the Buddha's images and practice meditation, all under the guidance of priest instructors. Note that meditation is scheduled in the early and late morning, the afternoon and the evening as it is the focus of YUWA CAMP. Taking vows Every night before going to bed, YUWA CAMP participants read aloud vows written on the back of their name-tags to confirm their commitments to life of decency and make a resolution. Award-giving Everyday winners of art or integrity contest are awarded prize as morale support and encouragement for their commitment to good conducts. The message from the camp is that all YUWA CAMP participants should pursue the good with rigor and as a goal, and not a means, in itself. Keeping records of meditation Another day of meditation and fun is over and now it is the time for YUWA CAMP participants to record meditation progress of that day and its impressions on them in a book called “My meditation”. This activity lasts 20 minutes and usually Yuwakalayanamitra are comforted by music.
