Learning songs
On first days of the camp, Yuwakalayanamitra are taught by mentors to sing YUWA CAMPsongs such as "The Dawn of Dhamma", "Waiting for you", "Star in our hearts" and many others. Mentors sing first, and Yuwakalayanamitra follow, reading the lyrics provided. These songs are sung during camp activities. They are everyone's favorites.
Art and Creative Activity
Yuwakalayanamitra are encouraged to apply meditation to improve their performance in creative activities such as molding candles, painting cloth, coloring string, painting plant pots, do gardening, doing models, writing composition, drawing, painting dolls & floating lamps and so forth. These activities, in turn, give them comfort and serenity which is good for meditation and they please both mentors and YUWA-Camp participants alike. Finally, the most beautiful pieces of work or those showing the greatest efforts are given awaded.
Field Activity
Yuwakalayanamitra obtain comfort and serenity from field activities. They are, for example, the trip to Ban Phu Rua in Loei where they visit Phu Rua mount, Ban Kang or interesting sites near the meditation facility. Such activities gives them the opportunity for diverse activities, including sports program, football matches (between mentors and YUWA CAMP participants, barbeque camping in which they must dig holes and find stags themselves and stations where they learn different kinds of virtue.
