After attaining enlightenment, Lord Buddha chose not to return immediately to Kapilavattthu to teach his father. Instead, he focused on sharing his wisdom with the people of Magadha to build his reputation. Lord Buddha performed miracles, including walking in circles and creating a rainstorm that respected the wishes of the people. This led to the royal family recognizing his teachings and paying homage to him. The story teaches that children must embody wholesomeness and respectability to influence their parents positively, especially in overcoming challenges like addiction.
