ABOVE ALL CIRCUMSTANCES IVXVII Outward Movement, Inward Stillness Our career is merely a secondary priority that goes hand in hand with the Dhamma, the spiritual lessons which can be practiced during our daily activities. While we are moving, studying, working, or doing anything, we can rest our minds within the center of our bodies. When we can take control of our mind, we will not be overwhelmed with emotion and pain when facing changes or unexpected happenings. Thus, our mind can not be influenced by suffering and will become like a cool spot in hot furnace.
