All four factors discussed in Chapter Two provide us with a way to move forward in our lives, living successfully and honestly. Problems, of course, will always arise but we should be aware that there are four fundamental principles to follow when faced with unexpected circumstances stemming from defilements (kilesa) in another person's character.
