many fears like death, diseases, older
age, loosing money and the prestige etc.
As long as we are surrounded by fears,
we can not live happily. It is a natural
truth that fears and uncertainty are un-
happiness.
As long as we have deep attach-
ment with our body and the mind, we
cannot be free from fear. So attachment
and the fear are source of unhappiness.
Detachment and the fearless are source
of happiness. The more we are free from
attachment and the fear, the more we
can live in true peace and happiness.
Actually attachment and the fear
are developed in our mind. It is our illu-
sion that outside objects are source of
attachment and fear. Now a question
comes, how our mind can be free from
attachment and the fear.
The simple answer is, “control,
train and purify our defiled mind". This
training method of our mind is called medi-
tation.
Meditation is the greatest medi-
cine Buddha gave us to cure our
sufferings. Through meditation practice we
can realize the true ultimate nature of
our mind and the body. Hence we can
develop wisdom for the eradication of
delusion. The wisdom we develop, the
more we will be free from attachment
