He taught: "Dig your well in search of the spring — Keep on digging, never rest — Dig shallow, no water’s to be found — Dig deep until you reach — and the water flows." Luang Phaw always maintained that: "the power of Dhammakāya is like the nutrients that nourish a tree to maturity. If we want a tree to bear fruit, we must water it and fertilize it. In the same way, any man who wants fulfilment in life must train himself until attaining Dhammakāya. Not only trees need nourishment, but people too!" Luang Phaw had the ability to know precisely what was going on in the minds of others. When he gave sermons, many people commented that the material of the sermon seemed to be tailormade to the needs of each individual. Even when he was ill and unable to leave his own room, he knew exactly what was going on throughout the temple. On major religious festivals held at Wat Paknam such as Magha Puja Day and Visakha Puja Day, Luang Phaw would invite the Buddha Himself to attend the ceremony. Many of the congregation would witness with their naked eyes, the Dhammakāya as large as the chapel in various positions, up in the sky above — especially when making the candlelit circummambulation of the Shrine Hall at night — an occurrence that could only have come about through the mental prowess of Luang Phaw Wat Paknam.
