her friends met Ms. Tao who was conducting
meditation classes in the evenings.
Ms. Tao taught them the 'Dham-
makaya' method whereby a crystal ball
was used as their focal point or object of
meditation to reach the 'centre of gravity'
within themselves. According to Dham-
makaya Principle, "the 'centre of gravi-
ty' is one's purification point and foutain
of wisdom. Thus, if one can train one's
mind to keep continuously still at this
point, one's mind is not only purified
but one can see innate brilliance there.
It is this brilliance that enables one to
see the truth at certain level of pro-
foundity, as a result, intelligence is au-
tomatically emanated, as is enlighten-
ment to a certain degree."
Ms. Leng was very surprised at
herself that she could progress in medita-
tion so fast, when she was the sort of
person that could not sit still for two
minutes! Also she was very pleased with
her progress because she had never
succeeded before when she tried to medi-
tate from books. At the end of three
months, her 'crystal ball' was bright
and clear. And she said,
"This is the first time in my life
I felt the innate peace and tranquility
which always seemed to elude me."
A fortnight later, that was two weeks
prior to her travelling from Singapore to
join the Kathin Festival, while meditating
she gained wonderful experience, she
said,
"I had seen a 'Buddha Image'
which was made of crystal within my
crystal ball. At one stage I could feel

myself sitting behind the Image, looking
at the crystal line formations on his
shoulders!
When I related this to my teacher,
she revealed that most of the Buddha
Images at Wat Phra Dhammakaya were
in crystal form. So there we are!
Since she has seen the Buddha
Image-that is to say she has attained to
Dhammakaya, she feels very happy, and
realises more fully the profoundity of
Buddhism and Dhammakāya meditation.
She and her teacher have since become
great friends and have firm faith in the
doctrine of rebirth. Ms. Leng asserted,
"We believe that previously
without any way of escape from the
cycle of rebirth, my life was so bad
that I never had even a small chance
to make 'Merit' for a better life the
next time round. Thus we intended
to participate in the Kathin Festival.
Now I am at Wat Phra Dhammakaya."

Ms. Leng and her teacher stayed
at the Wat for three days. She was very
impressed by the different people and
the different lifestyle, she said,
"Wat Phra Dhammakaya is not a
five-star hotel, the living conditions are
spartan, but the knowledge I gain from
this experience will stay with me for the
rest of my life.
The temple and grounds are well
kept, and efficiently managed. The
Abbot, Vice Abbot and 'Kuhn Yai'
whom I had the very great priviledge to
