feeling toward Luang Phor since the time you met him until now has never changed?. Mr.Mawson : My feelings have certainly gotten better and bigger Kalayanamitra : Better and bigger!. Thank you. Since you know the temple well, what impresses you the most?. Mr.Mawson : What impresses me most of all, is the attitude from Luang Phor all the way down through the monks, the lay people, the staff, the adults and the children who come here. Everyone comes with the intention to meditate for inner peace. Everyone knows that inner peace brings about world peace. And what's great is that the people here in Thailand are peace loving, and the people of this temple from the very top to the very bottom if you like, are all bent on the same idea. They want to see peace in the world and peace in Thailand too. There is no more wonderful thing that one can wish for and work toward in the world. Kalayanamitra: I would like to know about September 24th of this year. In front of an assembly of thousands of lay people and monks, I believe that you were given a new Thai name of "Dhammaputta" and the very great honor to be able to teach meditation to the world. How do you feel knowing that you have been chosen as the one who will bring the light of peace to the world? Mr.Mawson : I was obviously greatly honored and very humbled by the fact that Luang Phor himself had found this name for me. Also, that he choose me to be his voice in the west and his instrument of peace and I will work toward ผิดไปถนัดใจ หนทางที่จะนำมาซึ่งสันติภาพของโลก ก็โดย การผ่านสันติสุขภายในต่างหาก เพราะสงครามเริ่มต้นที่ใจ ของคนก่อน และหลวงพ่อก็ทราบเรื่องนี้ดี ผมมีทัศนคติที่ดี มากต่อตัวหลวงพ่อ หลวงพ่อมีอุดมคติที่สูงส่ง มีคุณธรรมที่ สูงมาก ท่านเป็นหนึ่งในจำนวนคนไม่กี่คนในโลกที่จริงจังกับ การนำสันติสุขมาสู่โลกที่เต็มไปด้วยสงครามใบนี้ คุณรู้ไหม ว่าในศตวรรษที่ผ่านมา ถือว่าเป็นศตวรรษแห่งการ นองเลือดมากที่สุดในประวัติศาสตร์ของมนุษยชาติ วารสาร : คุณหมายความว่า ความรู้สึกของคุณที่มีต่อ หลวงพ่อนับตั้งแต่วันแรกที่คุณพบหลวงพ่อจนกระทั่งถึงวันนี้ ไม่เปลี่ยนแปลงเลยใช่ไหมค่ะ โมว์สัน : จริงๆ แล้ว ความรู้สึกของผมที่มีต่อท่านดีกว่า เติมและยิ่งใหญ่กว่าเดิม วารสาร : ดีกว่าเดิมและยิ่งใหญ่กว่าเดิมเชียวหรือค่ะ! เนื่องจากว่า คุณได้มารู้จักวัดพระธรรมกายเป็นอย่างดี สิ่งใด ของวัดที่ประทับใจคุณมากที่สุด : โมว์สัน : สิ่งที่ประทับใจผมมากที่สุดคือ ตั้งแต่ทัศนคติ ของหลวงพ่อเรื่อยลงมาถึงทัศนคติของเหล่าพระภิกษุ เจ้าหน้าที่ในองค์กร ฆราวาสทั้งผู้ใหญ่และเด็ก ที่มาอยู่รวม กันที่นี่ ทุกคนมาเพื่อทำสมาธิให้เข้าถึงความสุขภายใน ทุก คนรู้ว่า สันติสุขภายในจะนำมาซึ่งสันติสุขของโลกได้ และ สิ่งที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดก็คือ การที่คนไทยในประเทศไทยเป็นผู้ ที่รักความสงบ และทุกคนในวัดแห่งนี้ตั้งแต่ผู้ที่อยู่สูงสุด ลง มาถึงผู้ที่อยู่ต่ำสุดอย่างเช่นตัวคุณเอง ต่างหลอมรวมเข้าสู่ อุดมคติอันเดียวกันคือ ต้องการเห็นสันติภาพเกิดขึ้นในโลก และในประเทศไทย ผมคิดว่า สิ่งนี้แหละที่เป็นสิ่งที่ดีเลิศ ไม่ มีสิ่งใดที่จะดีกว่านี้อีกแล้ว กับการที่คนๆ หนึ่งจะปรารถนา และจะทำงานอุทิศให้เกิดสิ่งนี้ขึ้นแก่โลก วารสาร : เมื่อวันที่ ๒๔ กันยายนของปีนี้ ต่อหน้าสาธุชน และพระภิกษุจำนวนหลายหมื่น คุณได้รับการขนานนาม ใหม่เป็นภาษาไทยว่า “ธรรมบุตร” และได้รับเกียรติอัน ยิ่งใหญ่ให้ทำหน้าที่สอนสมาธิให้แก่ชาวโลก คุณมีความรู้สึก อย่างไรเมื่อรู้ว่าได้รับเลือกให้เป็นหนึ่งในผู้ที่นำแสงสว่าง แห่งสันติภาพมาสู่โลก โมว์สัน : ผมรู้สึกเป็นเกียรติเป็นอย่างยิ่ง และรู้สึกซาบซึ้ง
