(Ph.D.)* Raised in the Midwest U.S.A., Dr. Honsa attended the U.S. Naval Academy for his B.5. degree and Occidental College in L.A. for his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in comparative literature. He joined the faculty of Humboldt State University in Arcata, California in 1967 and now teaches courses primarily in Third World Literature, American Ethnic Literature, Science Fiction and Comparative World Masterpieces Sur- veys.
