Many, many people underwent the 'Dhamma-
māyāda' training course because of the reputa-
tion for the training in Dhammakāya. It was this training which lead so many of the young students to become members of the temple. The innocence of youth, through this training was to become the pride and confidence of the temple. These people gained the capability to be leaders of the religion.
The abbot looked for graduates with a Batchelors' degree for whom meditation was the keystone in life. Because the basic standards for personnel were high, when the numbers interested started to increase, those with faith and money to support the temple followed too. Young students gave their support to the temple too. This was the start of the Buddhist societies and Buddhist study societies in the universities and colleges. The Buddhist societies were to integrate Bud- dhism into education of young people in Thailand through their various projects. This was the kingpin in the plan for training the personnel of the temple. When the number of personnel started to increase, the level of faith increased and the level of support for the temple started to grow.
Just as in the beginning, it was the enthu- siasm of the young people which led to the growth of the temple, it has been young people in the present day who recognise the importance of the search for knowledge and the correct way of putting the knowledge into practice, using the Buddha's Teaching
