Khun Yay with their title deeds. Khun Yay was willing to help them all and there were many stories of miracles surrounding her. Many people came to her with worries — or if they were experiencing suffering. A lady came to Khun Yay with a picture, lamenting, "my mother is in the final stages of cancer." Khun Yay looked at the picture and whispered:
"It is difficult to recover from cancer. Tell your mother to pray, chant and be generous, so that she earns merit within. If she can not chant herself, you can chant for her while she is listening."
Finally, Khun Yay added:
"If it is impossible to help her while she is alive, it is still possible to help her after her death."
Khun Yay said quite often that those who got cancer had less chance to survive and would put her hands in a gesture of prayer making the wish:
"May I and others be spared this disease. May it disappear from this world."
Some visitors came to her in a hurry, "Khun Yay! My mother will have heart surgery today. She is already aged and I am afraid that she will be at risk. I am here to ask you to save her through the power of merit." Khun Yay replied
"Let your mother think only of meritorious deeds. There are both physical and spiritual factors. The doctor can fix the physical factors. But, spiritually, your mother must think of the merit she has done in the past and I will also help."
Cheered, the lady left immediately to see her mother
