Peace brashness of youth thought ourselves to be invincible... but alas, such was not the case. It was during that year, while stationed in Thailand, that I came to know and love the Thai people and their rich culture. Their way of life became an oasis of harmony in the midst of the mayhem and discord of war. Their revered King taught his people, "to be content, with enough".
